Event Rules
Rules to Follow
- Each participant can take part in only one solo event and one team event.
- Participants must carry their college ID card at all times.
- Any kind of misconduct or cheating will result in disqualification.
- Teams/participants failing to report on time will be disqualified automatically.
- Decisions made by the judges will be final and binding.
- Participants must maintain discipline and follow campus rules.
- Damage to college property will lead to penalty and disciplinary action.
- The organizing team reserves the right to change event timings or rules if needed.
UNTANGLE THE TANGLE
- Each team must consist of 2 members(from the same or different departments).
- Open to all TJIT students interested in coding and problem-solving.
- Usage of phones, laptops, books, or the internet is strictly prohibited during the event.
- Any kind of malpractice will lead to immediate disqualification.
- Any kind of malpractice leads to immediate disqualification.
- Decisions made by the judges are final and binding.
- Tiebreakers (if needed) will be decided by an additional coding challenge.
- Teams must report 10 minutes before the competition begins.
- Late entries will not be entertained once the round starts.
- Code must be written in the provided coding environment.
- Time limits for each round must be strictly adhered to.
QUIZATHON
- 2 members per team (from the same or different departments).
- Open to all TJIT students interested in technology
- No external help allowed during competition.
- Use of electronic devices, books, or internet during the quiz is strictly prohibited.
- Any kind of malpractice leads to immediate disqualification.
- Decisions made by the quiz master/judges are final and binding.
- Tiebreakers (if needed) will be decided by an extra round of questions.
- Teams must report 10 minutes before the quiz begins.
- Late entries will not be entertained once the round starts.
- For written rounds, answers must be marked clearly.
- For buzzer or oral rounds, answers must be given within the time limit.
COOK LIKE A LOCAL
- 2 members per team
- No use of fire or electrical appliances (like stove, microwave, or induction).
- Only raw ingredients or ready-to-eat items are allowed.
- Participants must bring their own ingredients and utensils.
- Cleanliness and hygiene must be maintained throughout.
- Presentation and creativity are important; decorate your dish attractively.
- Participants must explain the name, ingredients, and preparation method of their dish to the judges.
- Use of healthy and eco-friendly ingredients is encouraged.
- Plagiarism (copying others) is not allowed.
- Judges decision will be final and binding.
OBSTACRUSH
- 4 members per team; no changes after registration.
- Teams must stay together, no splitting.
- No tampering with or removing other team's clues.
- No phones, internet or external help unless allowed.
- Fair play is mandatory — cheating = disqualification.
- No unsafe or illegal actions.
- Inform organizers immediately if anyone is injured.
- Organizer's decision is final.
PHOTOGRAPHY
- Open to all registered participants.
- Theme will be given on-spot.
- Only 1 photo per participant.
- Participants must bring their own cameras or smartphones.
- Photo must be clicked during the event.
- Photo must be submitted within an hour after the event starts.
- Only basic editing allowed (crop, brightness, color correction).
- No AI-generated or stock images.
- Do not disturb others or violate privacy.
- Judges' decisions are final and binding.
- No unsafe or prohibited activities.
FREEFIRE
- Each team consists of 4 players only (no substitutes).
- Only Android and iOS devices are allowed.
- Emulators and iPads are strictly prohibited.
- Any use of game-modifying tools will lead to disqualification.
- In-game voice chat is mandatory for proper team coordination.
- Use of unfair means such as aimbot, trigger bot, or ESP will result in immediate disqualification.
- Bug exploitation or any act that hinders fair play will lead to disqualification.
- Players must join 15 minutes before the match starts.
- In case of a tie, the number of Booyahs (wins) will decide the champion.
